  • 1.  Is there a way to disable mobile (or to force users to desktop version) when providing a specific link to a record?

We are using the "Everyone on the Internet" function in Quick Base and send unique record id urls to non-users.  They then use that link to interact with the form we have built.

Is there a way to either disable the mobile version in an application, or anything that we can add into the unique record id url to force to desktop version?

Can you provide some examples of the pairs of URLs (mobile and desktop) you want to map between? This is something that probably can be done with a Service Worker.

There is a new native option as of the recent June 18th release where you can set the Application properties to default to the Desktop version.  That should solve your problem of users landing in the incorrect interface.

Hi, I'm trying to find this setting - where is it exactly?

    HI Elena,

You can find that option from the applications home page by clicking on settings, going into the application properties and then looking under the header for advanced settings. There is a dropdown to set the Default View that in most instances is set to Auto, but you can have it default to Desktop or Mobile.

Even though I have this option checked, the mobile site still loads on phones and tablets.
None of our javascript buttons work in mobile.

That option should work for non-admin's. For some reason that option doesn't apply to Admins.

But you can suffix your URL with

    &fullver=1

to force it into the full version (desktop)
