You may have meant to click Required and ended up clicking Read Only.

Tara,
Can you tell us what type of field this is - is it a date field type or a formula date field type? Also, is there any chance that on the Form Properties, that you inadvertently clicked the "Read Only" checkbox?

Subject: Why can't I enter data in this field
Hello,
I have a date field that was created upon an import. Now in the form's and in edit grids I cannot enter a date. Is there a setting I am missing? I can enter info in other fields in the same form that were also created via an import.
Thanks,
Tara
