Blank Screen QuickBase Issue

    Several users in our organization are impacted with an issue where they are getting a blank screen when they click any report or Table Home page. QuickBase care mentioned that the issue may be caused by any JavaScript instance within the app. If it was an issue related to JavaScript, it should have affected all users who had access to the app. But, it has only affected a selected number of users. Has anyone else see this issue?

    Hi Karthik,

    If you are seeing this issue with several of your users and especially if it is happening on more than one browser working with Care will definitely be your best next step as you work to find the source of this issue. One thing to look at is if these users have a role in common in the application and if so does that role use a specific form or report that might contain those fields and be resulting in their view? Are other users in the same role not having an issue opening those pages in the app?

    Hi Evan,

    Thanks for the response. The issue is not limited to one QuickBase App. So, I am not sure how the role is going to affect these users. Also, they get a blank screen when they click on any Table Home Page. The issue gets fixed temporarily when they access any URL from another Realm. But, it reoccurs if the user reboots their machine. We cannot be asking our users to click a link to another Realm every time they have this issue.

    Hi Karthik,

    I have not seen this before.
    A few thoughts.
    Try Incognito mode
    Try changing the Role for the User
    Try clearing the browser cache for website data, not cookies
    What is unique about these Users devices or profiles or permissions.
    First thing to find is can it be reproduced?

    Hi Karthik,

    If it is happening across applications and isn't confined to users in a specific role but seems random for the users then continuing working with the support team would be the best way to work at getting to the bottom of what is going on. Knowing what users and where in the apps specifically they have this issue will help them narrow it down.
