  • 1.  New Dashboard Button Question

    Hi All,

Is it possible to to get the equivalent of URLEncode(User()) into a button on the new dashboard page? I want the new dashboard to show a report that's filtered for the current user in the Employee field. Under the report I want to add a button so that the user can add records to that report. I'd like to pass along the user info into the form that opens up so that the user doesn't have to choose their name from the Employee field. Possible?

    Thanks,

The button will need ot live on a report so that you can use the formula language of a field.  You can contrive a report with only one record on it and the report itself can only have one column to show your button.
