  • 1.  Read Only Form Rules Not Applying to Mobile Edit Form

I have a form rule that makes a dropdown read only in edit mode if it's populated. It works totally fine in the desktop version but the read only rules don't apply to mobile. Is this a known issue? Thanks!

We are having the same issue.  We have a date field that is automatically populated with the current date once a check box is checked and is set to "Read-only (even when used for data-entry)" in the Elements section of the form.  Field works perfectly on the desktop (enters the date and is NOT editable) , but doesn't work correctly in the mobile app (enters the date, but IS editable).

    Any ideas?

I have not experienced this issue. One option would be to create formula field that is just the selected value, and display that and hide the editable field using a Dynamic Form Rule. Another workaround would be to hide the field using a dynamic form rule. This might not be advisable for the original poster because of the case when a user selected the wrong choice.
