  • 1.  How to switch the Form a current Record uses.

I have a table I'm working with where a record gets created for every project assigned to a team member.  I'd like to have the records already created and populated from the last two months use a different Form that I recently created.

I'm already familiar with Image Onboarding combined with URL redirect, but that only seems to work when new records are created.  In this case I would like the recent, existing records to use this new form (qty = 15) and have all the older records keep the older Form.  Does anyone have a suggestion?

When you have multiple forms you will see an option in forms management to control which forms get associated with which reports.

I suggest that you make a set of reports to use the old form and a parallel set of reports to use the new form and then associate appropriately which form goes with which.

If your users access the records from these reports they will end up reviewing and editing on the correct form.

Mark, that's a great idea though I don't believe it'll work for my application since I'm not able to dictate which reports the users access records from.

Is there any other way of changing the default form that a record uses?

Well the only other choice is to make a button to display the form on the alternate form and a different formula URL button to edit the record on an alternate form
