  • 1.  Accessing record from drilldown report takes you to the wrong form

    Posted 07-13-2021 11:01
I have a summary report. The drill down report is set to a specific report, not default - the report is "2022 Budget Submissions", which is report #474. When you drill down from the summary report, it goes to the correct report. That part is all working fine.

What is not working, is the form that the drilldown report takes you to when you go to view or edit a record. It takes you to the default role setting form. This is... Well, really, really annoying. It works correctly from the full report, but it does not work from the drilldown report.

Is this normal? Is there any way to fix it?

For anyone following up on this, we could not figure it out. We did a workaround via a custom button that we created and put in the reports.

I am assuming that with the full report, you went to 'Override role settings with report' and switched the form under the view/edit form dropdown.

Did you do this same thing for the drilldown report?

The drilldown reports are temporary reports... How can you override settings for those?
