Does anyone know the formula to use if I want a formula checkbox to populate when I mark a certain task complete?
    Thanks!

Can you explain how you currently mark a task as being complete?

Our tasks are embedded from a separate table.  I edit the task and mark it complete.  Does that make sense?

Are you saying that you have a relationship where one Project has many Tasks and when all of the Tasks are completed then you want to mark the project is completed?

There is a relationship where one Project has many Tasks.  I want to create a field that is checked if a certain task, not all tasks, is marked complete, but not checked if the task is still in progress.
    I appreciate your assistance!!

Do you want this checkbox on the Project Record  or the Task Record?

Ok, we finally got there :). It was not clear from your original question that you had a second table involved.

no problem, just go to the Relationship between Projects and Tasks and make a Summary field on the relationship and choose the option

Whether there are any children related to that Parent

    then include a filter like

where Task Name equals Budget Approved
