Each day, I have the daily task of reconciling a log provided by our client against records in my Quickbase App. I basically want to update client provided log (and only those records) with status information captured in Quickbase App.
From what I have been able to glean, my best option is to create a Many-to-Many relationship by creating an additional table. I guess I am having trouble visualizing how this relationship would work. I have had prior success with relational databases (just create a relationship one [Work Order Number] field in both tables.
My master table [Work Orders] has a Key ID field (which we use for master transaction identifier – So it cannot change). But we do also have a [Work Order Number] filed that should relate to [Work Order Number] on client table.
