Form to capture information for another app

    Hello everyone,

I have two apps.  The first one (Team Elite) is a Project Management App for my entire company.  All users are in it.  The second app (Flourish) is a management app for directors.  We use this to track strategic projects for the future that we do not necessarily want employees seeing.  Within that we have tracking for our Quick Base development projects.

So in Flourish we have a series of steps to design teh Quick Base functionality and document it before we build it out.

Right now when users have an idea they simply email it to me.  What we want to do is add a button in Team Elite to "Request Quick Base Functionality" and let them describe what they want in a multi line text box or rich text box (have not decided yet) and post it.  When they post it, it would create a record in Flourish.  However, these users do not have security access to Flourish.

Is there a way to accomplish this?  Would I need to do it via API or could I create a "guest" user in Flourish with only access to this one table?  I dont want to store any of the data in Team Elite so how would I create that form?

    Thanks!!!

    np,
Have them enter it in a table where they do have access, and use an Automation to write it to the Management .  Automations run under their own Permissions.

Right so I guess my question was where do I capture this data in the current app?  Do I need a table and a form in my current app with essentially dummy data?  It will record the info, trigger the automation, and not be used again?

Perfect, worked well.  Thanks!  Just wanted to make sure I was going in the right direction before building it out.  Have a good weekend!
