Summary report column limitation

    I'm creating a Summary report and I'm trying to create a 7th row under the Grouping and crosstab section, but the green "+" button is unavailable to click. Is this is a limitation of the Summary report? I literally just need to add one more field and I will have the report I need.

    Ya, so the limit is 6.

    But "no problem" as long as you are summarizing on text fields which I assume you are ...

    Just take two of your fields and make a  formula - text field  to concatenate them together like 

    new field [Customer Name and City]

    with a  formula

    List([" ",[Customer Name], [City])


     and then use that as one of your six levels of summary, so that will be a "2 'fer" like a "2 fer" the price of 1 deal.

    I had thought of this option, but the use case for this report was to export to Excel spreadsheet in separate columns. I think this will just require a discussion with the report user to determine which preferences are most important to them and if there is any give or take. I was just looking to avoid scripting to give them everything that they were looking for. Thanks for the response!
