I have run across a situation where a table having over 10000 records shows a view (below) where you can list all or do a conditional search. I have a employee that has a table with over 49000 records and his is not doing this. Is this a setting that can be initiated on any table, is it triggered by the number of records and can it be setup to show this view when clicking on any table

If the so called default report is set as the report to use for the Table Home Page report, then QuickBase will detect that there are a too high number of records which will hurt the performance of the app to sort and then start to display, and it will instead put up that search dialogue that you want.

But if you choose, rightly or wrongly, that the Table Home Page report is say the List All report with 49,000 records, then QuickBase assumes that you know what you are doing.

Bottom line - set the Table Home Page Report to be the default report.

So at what point and record count does Quick Base revert to the search option in the view above

I don't recall off hand. My guess is 10,000 records.

I also see that you can set it to Advanced Search Form which will do the same thing

Table - Customize the page - Under View you can select List all which will show all the records,

I think what he told is correct , to get a better performance after 10k records they made the Search Filter automatically
