I am trying to import  220 K rows of data but I got the following message.  I cut down to 100 K rows and I still get the message.  What is the limit?

We cannot get the status of your upload at this time.  Please refresh the page. Error: Internal Error.

The unknown (well at least to me) limit is based on the amount of data, not the number of rows.  So it will depend on the # of columns and the amount of data in each column (sort of the field width as to a lot or a little text).

I suggest that you cut the # of rows in half and try again and it will likely work unless you have a ginormous number of columns.

Basically its trial and error to see what amount of data it will take.

Thanks Mark. I have on;y 18 columns.  Cut it down to 50 K and still getting error that file must be less than 5 mb.  File is 3 mb only.   So kind of stuck.

Do you think changing to CSV will make a difference?

Hmmmm, I really don't know. Maybe.  Maybe a CSV file is smaller in size than the same data in Excel format,

It did work with CSV. I could transfer 220 K rows.

I think the largest file size you can import is around 575KB. I uploaded a file of 575KB but a 600KB file was too large.
