Adding column directly from reports issue?

I am sure there is an easy answer to this, but I can't figure it out since the new reports have been released.  None of my table reports will allow me to add a column while I am on the table?  Is there somewhere in the app I need to allow or enable this?  I am an Admin, so I have access to every setting. report etc in our app.

    When you hover over the black heading, you should see the three dots menu  and an option to Show more columns.
