Updating drop down lists

Admin rights have been dumped on me and I have no idea how to update a drop-down list.
I need to update this drop down by eliminating some options and updating others.

    Is the drop down list just a multiple choice field or is it from a relationship?

      It's just a multiple choice.  No relationship.  I need to delete three (or hide) and revise/edit one.  thanks.

        You would edit the field properties for that multiple choice field. But before doing that you need to research if that field is used in other reports or formulas. There is a Usage Tab in field properties  to assist with that.
