Were automations down last night?

So my automations were working just fine over the last few days.

The last night for like a 30 - 45 min period, they wouldn't work.

They aren't anything complicated, but none of them would work.

So I decided to give it a rest cause it was late.

I tested them again this morning and they are working now.

Does this happen frequently?

I didn't change a thing between then working, then not working, then working.

    Hi Andrew,

    The Automation services can experience delays from time to time if there is a large volume of requests going into the Automations service. This can result in delays long enough to be noticeable and hold up like that Automation isn't firing. We don't currently have any other reports of a downtime last night incoming but it is possible you ran into a high traffic time that was delaying the changes you were expecting. Did those automations never fire at all or were any changes live when you checked back in? Delays are uncommon but they can happen.

      The automations never happened.

      I generated a number of new records last night. Automations is supposed to pick it up and change a few fields.

      It was working great for the last few days, but then last night as I was showing a few colleagues, it just wasn't working. None of my automations. From the most simplest to the more complex.

      I tried for up to 45 mins. I tried several different apps that all had the same automation. I tested various records. Nothing. I didn't change anything in the automations between when they were working and then when they weren't.

      I gave up around 11pm last night. I checked this morning and the automations still hadn't happened. But I generated a new test record and the automation picked it right up immediately.

      I tested a few more and the same thing, working fine.

      It must have been a fluke or something. Between last night and this morning, I didn't change anything in the automations.

      I was just curious if this happens frequently, if I need to time my automations differently, etc.
