I would like to just click on a record and see all the edits that have taken place after the record has been approved (Field_ID "Status" = Approved).Re: Logging edits to a recordAny best-practice advice for 2021? Trying to follow directions but even when creating and utilizing my [-] field it seems like enough things have changed to where it's not as simple as following the directions that are on this thread.Re: Everyone on the InternetWhat a bizarre response. You act like it was snobby or something for the OP to ask or make her remarks. It is a crappy design -- I can understand why it is and even it being a default, but not having the ability to remove users from the EOTI role and only have their originally assigned is a bad design. So you got the rule for the roles, but what about if it needs to be dependent on other fields as well? Can't have both. Garbage design made worse by a garbage response to a customer.Re: Search and replaceForsure. Thanks. Utilizing the Groups function in Admin Console helps as well, in a broader sense. I was hoping someone somewhere sometime would have nerded out one night and created a magic wand.Search and replaceI was wondering if there was a way to "replace all" regarding users in a Quick Base realm. Idk if that is an unrealistic hope or not. One of our users is no longer with the company and is being replaced. The old user is set up everywhere; options for different fields in different apps, there are notifications set up for him, reports etc… I was hoping I didn't have to go in and find all of these and replace individually.BarcodesWe are looking at setting up asset tracking and want to utilize the barcode capabilities of Qbase. This is probably a dumb question but does anyone have any advice on the best method to print the codes? We will use portable printers but does anyone have experience or knowledge on how to do it; is it as simple as buying a portable barcode printer, connecting your phone to it and printing directly from the record where the barcode has been generated?Automation, couple fields don't copyI am successfully running some automation's between apps. The set of data being copied is almost identical each time. The first set of apps is where the info is inputted. It's then copied over to a single app where it is reviewed and "approved". Once approved it's then copied over to a third app. However on this second copy to the third app there are 2 fields that aren't being copied over. They are time fields. A simple start time and end time. I can't figure out why. Any suggestions on something to look for?Automations, I thinkHello. Not sure if i'm posting this in the correct location. I'm needing some help. I'll try my best to explain it clearly. I created an app that collects information from workers that are out on jobs. The app has multiple tables, the main table's form includes information from other tables. You can think of the main table as where the basic information is inputted and then there's buttons to "add a new" entry from the other supporting tables... the supporting tables are designed to be "looped", where you don't have to create any but you can also create multiple, depending on what work was accomplished that day. We have multiple of these apps, and it will be a growing number. The submissions need to be approved, so instead of having a manager go into each app and approve from there i wanted to create one app that pulled all of these submissions into a single managers app. I tried to set up an automation that just pulled records from the main table but it didn't work and that is where I'm currently at. I tried to set up the automation just using the main table because like i mentioned earlier the main table form visually includes information from the supporting tables, although i had a feeling it wouldn't work because technically that information is housed in the supporting table itself. Hopefully that's clear. Any help/tips on how i should move forward would be appreciated and I will respond to any questions!
