I have a pipeline that does a Search Records prior to Update Record the record(s) found and clearing 3 checkboxes. This is the Advanced Query from the search. The text was taken from the Run log. When the pipeline runs, it says Found No Records of Record Type. query:"{40.EX.'yesterday'}}AND({81.EX.'true'}OR{109.EX.'true'}OR{110.EX.'true'})" table:"bq2362msd" Field 40 is a Date Time field Fields 81, 109 and 110 are Checkbox fields The value of the date Date Time field in the records is yesterday, the 10th, at 10:00 am. Does that not qualify as 'yesterday'? What am I missing with getting these records found and updated. I want to find all the records from yesterday's event and the Update Record to reset the checkbox to false/off. ------------------------------ Katherine Oakey ------------------------------ Re: For Each in Pipeline doesn't trigger email notificationI wasn't sure if the Bulk Upsert qualified if it contained the For Each ... The Migration is what created the Bulk Upsert as the first step in the Automation. The Search is there and the For Each is there. I'll keep reading but looks like I need to tweak the Pipeline to loop through the records and commit after each instead of the COMMIT UPSERT. Rats! I was hoping the migration wouldn't need any tweaking :) ------------------------------ Katherine Oakey ------------------------------ For Each in Pipeline doesn't trigger email notificationI migrated my Automations (3 of them) to Pipelines yesterday (each runs daily with a filter to limit the record(s) to update. There were three records to be updated today and they did get updated. However the email notification on the update wasn't sent - Permission Open and the email address is an Email field in the record. Each record sent to a different email address and none of them got the email. The Pipeline Action is a Bulk Upsert. It does a Search Record followed by a For Each QB record Do loop which does the record update. Even though a Bulk Upsert block is being used, as long as it is nested in a For Each block I should be good with getting an individual record update and the resulting external Notification to an external user Email field? The Automation checks a box if a date field = a specific date in the future so, yes, more than one record could have its check box set to 'checked'. I didn't think I was doing a 'multiple' record check although yes, more than one record could be checked with resulting notification. I'll give the Pipeline a whirl. I don't know pipelines well yet and couldn't figure out how to do this in a pipeline but yup, see if the migration can figure it out :) ------------------------------ Katherine Oakey ------------------------------ What am I missing with open email notification to an external Email fieldThe fields for the notification get changed (there are 3 fields with ANY/OR). The notification is permission 'open' Notify Whom is a Email field in the table. Message type is custom. I am using only the Single Record Version tab. I have the single record Add/Edit radio button checked. The 3 fields are checkboxes checked via Automation and they are getting checked as desired (daily). The notification worked when I put in a specific Whom internal email address. I am not sure how to troubleshoot why the email isn't getting sent and why. ------------------------------ Katherine Oakey ------------------------------ Scheduled Automation to Update a number of child records based on Lookup Field filterDaily I want an automation to run that will modify a record to check a checkbox field (Trigger Email Reminder) if the Event Date and Time = 'tomorrow' I have part of the Automation already done but run into a roadblock The Parent is the Event table which holds the Zoom info for the event' one record per Event The Child is the EOTI Clients and Ticket Creations table which has the checkbox field (Trigger Email Reminder); multiple records may match the 'tomorrow' criteria. I have the trigger 'daily' I have the filter (Event Date & Time = 'tomorrow'); Event Date & Time is a Lookup field from the Child to the Event date and time. I want to 'check' the Trigger Email Reminder checkbox but that field doesn't appear in the Select fields Field dropdown. Does the automation not have context with the correct EOTI Clients and Tickets Creation records because I used a lookup field? How do I establish context so all the EOTI Clients and Tickets Creation records matching the Lookup field Event Date & Time get their Trigger Email Reminder checkbox checked? ------------------------------ Katherine Oakey ------------------------------
