I have seen that cause errors before.Re: I want to create a link / button on my homepage that takes the user to a specific form to edit the only record that user has access to in a table. Thanks, I'll give that a try and see how it looks.Re: I want to create a link / button on my homepage that takes the user to a specific form to edit the only record that user has access to in a table.Over the past 4 years has there been a better solution to this issue. I found it today and I want to do basically the same thing but agree with the original poster that this method involves redundant clicks. thanks, Jason. Pass date time in mm/dd/yy hh:mm:ss format from iol js scriptI have the below code in my iol java script page and it works for what I need. The problem is _fid_18 shows the time as a string of numbers on the form and not as dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss until after the form is saved. Once the form is saved it displays in the proper format. I am looking at for a way to format the date in the java script page but so far everything I try breaks the script. Can anyone help me out with this? (function(){ $("a.QBU_Button").on("click", function(event) { new Promise((resolve, reject) => { navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition(resolve, reject); }).then(position => { _fid_37.value = position.coords.latitude; _fid_38.value = position.coords.longitude; _fid_18.value = new Date().getTime() - 14400000 }); }); })(); Re: Geolocation and form fieldsDan, I think I am missing something. Can you help me with the IOL does that go in the formula or the module.js page? do I attach that to the form? Is it a field in the database? sorry to be a pain but I am really new to this. thanks, Jason.Re: Geolocation and form fieldsDan, thanks for your response. How would I put this in my button, as a formula? I copied the code you have and I get an error about syntax. I did change the fields to match my database fields.Re: Geolocation and form fieldsI will post back once I have a working solution. I don't see the code firing in the console so I think the reload is the only section that is working on my geo.js page. Thanks for all your help!!Re: Geolocation and form fieldsThis works for both adding or updating a record but I am still having trouble with the position.coords.lat or long not populating the fields for lat and long. the records are updated or added to the database but not the lat and long. Any ideas?Re: Geolocation and form fieldsThanks! I will try this and let you know if I get it working. Again thanks for the help!
