My thought process at the moment is to create a calculated column to filter the report like this: IF( Contains([Field], "A") OR Contains([Field], "B") OR ... Contains([Field], "Z"), "True","False") Obviously, this formula is not very elegant. Does anyone know of a more efficient way to code this? Thanks in advance.Re: Help with If StatementI might be late in answering this, but it looks like you've got an extra ")" at the end of your first line, which means you closed your initial IF statement before specifying what to do if [Override Actual Complete Date] is Null.Re: is there a way to automatically assign specific due dates for a payment schedule?Hi Ryan, You can create a calculated date field based off of the Invoice Date and Arrival Date (I'm assuming that the number of payments is determined by the number of months between the two). Try this: If( Month( [Arrival Date] ) >= Month( [Invoice Date] ), If( Day( [Arrival Date] ) >= Day( Today() ), AdjustMonth( [Arrival Date], Month( Today() ) - Month( [Arrival Date] ) ), AdjustMonth( [Arrival Date], Month( Today() ) - Month( [Arrival Date] ) + 1), If( Day( [Arrival Date] ) >= Day( Today() ), If( Month( Today() ) > Month( [Arrival Date] ), AdjustMonth( [Arrival Date], Month( Today() ) - Month( [Arrival Date] )- 12), AdjustMonth( [Arrival Date], Month( Today() ) - Month( [Arrival Date]) ), If( Month( Today() ) > Month( [Arrival Date] ), AdjustMonth( [Arrival Date], Month( Today() ) - Month( [Arrival Date] )- 11), AdjustMonth( [Arrival Date], Month( Today() ) - Month( [Arrival Date]) + 1 ) ) ) )Re: Show Total # of Hours in Workdate durationTry this: WeekdaySub( [Finish], [Start]) * 8Re: i have a question regarding relationship can someone help me pleaseTo answer your first question, you would need to change the Key field for your master table (Record ID is the default). You can do this by going to your table > Settings > Fields. Check the box of the field you want to use as your key, and select "Set Key". Now, when you create the relationship, your tables will be connected based off that field. For your second question, you can create a Summary Report from your purchase order table. Go to your existing purchase order table, click "Reports and Charts", click "New", then select "Summary Report". Choose the fields you want to summarize under "Summarize Data". From there, scroll down to "Grouping and Crosstabs", group by Date of Purchase, and Combine by Month. This will create a summary report grouped by Month. I hope this helps!Re: Legend direction for Horizontal Stacked Bar ChartThanks for the quick response! I also suspect that that's the case, but I figured I'd see if anyone else had a solution. Clearly, it's not the end of the world if it doesn't work, but it was worth checking.Legend direction for Horizontal Stacked Bar ChartI have a horizontal stacked bar graph and the legend entries are in the opposite order of the series in the bars (i.e. the bars show yellow to pink, and the legend shows pink to yellow). Ideally, I'd like for the bars and the legend to be in the same order (either both pink to yellow, or both yellow to pink). While I could just switch to a vertical stacked bar, I find it easier to compare lengths with the wider aspect ratio. I tried changing the Series Direction, but it changed both the bars and the legend, so they still didn't match. Does anyone know of a way to make them go the same direction so it's more intuitive? Thanks!Re: Smart units field in my form only displays in days. How can the value be interpreted as mentioned in smart units description?I assume you're referring to this definition of Smart Units: The most appropriate format for the entered value. For example, "120 min" displays as2 hours. "84 hrs" displays as3.5 days. How smart is that? Source:http://help.quickbase.com/user-assistance/configure_duration_fields.html So in your case, QB has determined that it makes the most sense to a user for the duration to be presented in days, as opposed to say hours. If you would rather show duration in a larger unit, such as years, you would need to use a calculated field to convert the number of days between two dates into the number of years.Re: Calculation for Time In and Time Out formAre you sure you entered AM for Time In and PM for Time Out? If it's getting -8.00, then it could be that they are entered either both AM or both PM.
