Example: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly recurring events. Here is the scenario: I have a simple table of events (Name, Date, Duration). I create one event (Weekly Status Meeting, 3/18/24, 60 mins). I would like to be able to select the period of time that I want this event to be duplicated (in this instance, I need Weekly until 7/31/24). This is one example; however, I need a solution that would allow me to create Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly events based on the existing date, and for a selected period of time (end date). I hope this makes sense. ------------------------------ Myoshia Boykin-Anderson ------------------------------ New Medical Management App OK, I will preface this post by stating that I am rather new to the advanced features of Quickbase and that this may be asking a lot...so here goes: I am designing a solution for our Client Services Department. The proposed workflow is as follows: New referrals come in requesting support/services. Intake Coordinator approves referrals and turn them into new client profiles with a unique identifier (a combination of a few client attributes and random auto numbers.) A client portal allows clients to complete additional information and electronically sign documents. Completed client profiles get assigned to a Clinician. Clinicians access their workload from their unique dashboards (new clients, to-do items, reports, etc.) Encounters are added to client profiles from outside vendors (labs, prescriptions, visits, etc.) Medical billing is submitted to various clearinghouses and direct payors. Payments are processed through various clearinghouses and payment processors. Etc. etc. etc. I know that this project will entail months of requirements, design and development, but I would love some insight into some high-level steps I can take towards making this happen. ------------------------------ Ms. My ------------------------------ Re: Creating a Ranking Form Question I am going to try this with another test form. I used the dynamic form rules that Chayce recommended. You two rock and I am so appreciative for the help (and the quick turnaround.) ------------------------------ Myoshia Boykin-Anderson ------------------------------ Re: Creating a Ranking Form Question These form rules worked perfectly fine and were easy for me to implement. Thanks so very much for this. ------------------------------ Myoshia Boykin-Anderson ------------------------------ Re: Creating a Ranking Form Question Your guess is exactly right: I don't want to allow them to repeat any feature twice. The plan is not to allow them to repeat a rank...so there will not be two ranks of 1, etc. Even with written instructions informing the users, I need a way to prevent them from selecting the same rank for multiple questions. So yes, I do need help with how to program the formula based on the previous answers. My guess is it would be something like a nested IF,THEN statement like: If Q1=rank 1, then Q2-Q7 can only be ranks 2-7 If Q1=rank 2, then Q2-Q7 can only be ranks 1,3-7, etc. Am I thinking about this correctly??? ------------------------------ Myoshia Boykin-Anderson ------------------------------ Re: Creating a Ranking Form Question The plan is not to allow them to repeat a rank...so there will not be two ranks of 1, etc. My original thought was to do exactly what you have outlined here, because I didn't see any other option than having 7 different questions. Even with written instructions informing the users, I need a way to prevent them from selecting the same rank for multiple questions. ------------------------------ Myoshia Boykin-Anderson ------------------------------ Creating a Ranking Form Question Hello All - I have created a survey form that includes a variety of questions. For one of the questions, I would like the user to be able to rank 7 different options from 1-7 Example: How would you rank the following 7 areas from most important (1) to least important (7)?: Option 1 Option 2 Option ... Option 7 I am completely lost on how I would achieve this and have it work on an html webform open to Everyone On The Internet. ------------------------------ Myoshia Boykin-Anderson ------------------------------ Re: Multi-select categoriesThanks so much Mark. I have the team trying this now. If we can't figure it out, I will definitely ping you for a one-on-one session. I don't want them spinning their wheels on this too much. Thanks in advance for your help. ------------------------------ Myoshia Boykin-Anderson ------------------------------ Multi-select categoriesI am creating a database of podcast shows. I have a Shows table with all the attributes of each show. One of the attributes is category, and each show can fall under one or many categories. I have a list of 150 categories. What is the best way for me to achieve this functionality (from a table perspective and from a data entry form perspective?) ------------------------------ Myoshia Boykin-Anderson ------------------------------ Re: Displaying reports on web pages using JavascriptThanks Harrison - I will use the temp auth endpoint instead. So once I fetch a temp token, how do I get the report to display on my web page? ------------------------------ Myoshia Boykin-Anderson ------------------------------
