Funny enough, I just had an idea to use contains last night but hadn't actually implemented it.Re: Is there a way to test in a formula if a text field contains a valid number? It's SSN field that allows either null, all 9 digits or just last 4 digits. So the format is either empty, 123-456-789 or 0123.Re: Is there a way to test in a formula if a text field contains a valid number?Sorry to resurrect an old post but this is the closest post I've found that's similar to the problem I'm struggling with. I have a text field that's supposed to have all numbers except for dashes. I need to do IsNumeric type of validation. While Mark's formula is working great, my field can start with 0 so I can't use it. And changing the field to numeric is not an option at this point due to other dependencies. I've tried many different approaches with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Re: Test this app as another role"" not showing up after QB updateGary, is this option checked for the user? If he has admin rights, he should be able to see "test as another role" and "test as another user" functions. Re: Test this app as another role"" not showing up after QB updateYep, that's exactly what I told them. And the support person agreed with me but he said it's the only option for right now.Re: Test this app as another role"" not showing up after QB updateSo I reached out to Quickbase support and they're telling me I need to select "Edit app structure and permissions" in order to get that option which is not what I want to do. There's a reason why those users are not under Admin role. Still exploring alternative options. If someone finds a solution, please let me know. Test this app as another role"" not showing up after QB updateSince Quickbase applied their March update and added an option to test apps as a User, the entire "test this app as" option has disappeared for non admin roles. "Test as another role or user" is not hidden for these roles. Is there another setting to configure? I read through the release notes and test role setting articles but don't see anything mentioned about this issue.
