When it is ticked a second time it will proceed from the last paused duration. Timer that Triggers on Checkbox Good Afternoon, I hope that you are well. I need some advise, I would like to build a timer (Counting in Hours) that triggers when a checkbox is ticked. When the checkbox has been unticked, the timer needs to pause. When it is ticked again the timer needs to continue counting from its last paused spot. Is this it possible to build this within in quickbase? Kind Regards, Re: Checkbox to Populate Date Field Hi I'm not too familiar with Pipelines, but I'm keen to give that method try. I wrote a formula today that seems to work, but I am worried that the formula below will just update to the next following everytime the record updates. Is there any other workarounds for this formula? If([Checkbox]=true,Today(),null) Checkbox to Populate Date Field Good day, I need some advise on which formula I can use for a Date field that populates when a checkbox is ticked. This field should behave a bit like a time stamp, so only when the checkbox is ticked change the date field to today. The checkbox is used in a grid edit view, so I can't use form rules for this one. Re: Working out the Latest Date Hi Thank you for the help. I was definitely over complicating the formula, working perfectly now. Working out the Latest Date Good Day, I need some advise on creating a formula date field that can display the latest date from several date fields. The formula I tried to use was this one below, It works for any dates in the past, but not for the future. Is there a better formula I can use to get the latest date? Max( If(Date Field 1] <= Today(), [Date Field 1]), If([Date Field 2] <= Today(), [Date Field 2]) ) Kind Regards, ------------------------------ Lindy Austin ------------------------------ Re: Formula Text to User Awesome, It works. Thank you! ------------------------------ Lindy Austin ------------------------------ Formula Text to User Hi There I have a formula-text field that currently displays an email address depending on which department is selected. [Example: Department 'X' is selected, therefore displays abcd@random.com] I would like to create a separate User field that auto links to the email address from that original text field. Is there a way for me to do this? ------------------------------ Lindy Austin ------------------------------
