We had obviously hoped that Empower 2021 could be live, and just recently finalized the decision to host it virtually. We are in the midst of designing the best possible virtual experience, including the pricing structure. We plan to announce those details in early February, and will also communicate the redemption possibilities for complimentary ticket holders. So stay tuned, and let us know if you have any other questions! ------------------------------ Alison Hunt Senior Marketing Manager, Customer Events Quick Base ------------------------------ RE: Virtual Empower AMA-Live May 14th 1-2 PM EST with Beth Hyland and Alison HuntHi! Yes, for every full-length session you attend during the event, you will receive one credit to re-certification. You should have received an email from us with the Agenda and a link to log in. But we'll be sending reminders as it gets closer: Training will run from Noon – 4 pm (EST) each day. You should be prepared to build along in Quick Base. Day 1 will cover application planning & structure: terms, data modeling, tables, field and relationships. Day 2 will focus on visuals, logic and operations: forms, reports, dashboards, permissions and notifications. The On Demand Sessions will be available as soon as Virtual Empower opens at 10:30 AM EST on June 2. Also, all Empower sessions will be available On Demand following the conference. ------------------------------ Alison Hunt Senior Marketing Manager, Customer Events Quick Base ------------------------------ RE: Virtual Empower AMA-Live May 14th 1-2 PM EST with Beth Hyland and Alison HuntHello! Yes, we are also happy we can still deliver all of the awesome content, but sad it won't be live in sunny San Diego. But there's always next year in.....tune in at the end of Virtual Empower to find out the dates & location. Regarding your question, the experience will be similar to live. For breakout sessions, simply join whichever topic most interests you. There is no limit on the number of attendees at each session. We will also have live Q&A moderators in each session to answer questions throughout. Following the Product Keynote and during Breaks, you can visit the Product Demo area is to check out new features and chat with the Product Team. You can also schedule a 1:1 Tech Bar appointment and will be some fun stuff scattered in. Nothing like the Offsite Party of Empower's past, but we'll do what we can! ------------------------------ Alison Hunt Senior Marketing Manager, Customer Events Quick Base ------------------------------ Atlanta Ice Breaker Hi, I'm Alison Hunt. I plan events for Quick Base app builders, and you might remember me from such events as "Empower 2018: Texas Hold Em" and "Empower 2019: Miami Sound Machine." I'm excited about the launch of our Atlanta User Group, which we are kicking off with the Atlanta Community Summit on November 7 th . I hope to see you there! This space is for making connections. A great start is to introduce yourself. Here are some questions to get you started. We look forward to learning more about you and so do your Atlanta-area peers! Are you Simpsons fan? If so, favorite quote. What's your favorite Empower memory? If you haven't been, what would it take to get you there this year? What's something you've learned about yourself while working with Quick Base? My Answers: I am beyond a fan – I think primarily in Simpsons references (only old school though Seasons 1-9). Favorite quote – so hard to choose! But I'd probably have to give it Bart: I can't promise I'll try, but I'll try to try. I'll be there! You can find me running in a million directions. My favorite memory would have to be the violinist who opened the 2017 keynotes – Purple Rain! – and the therapy dogs in the exhibit hall this year. But beyond the fun stuff, seeing all the builders so excited for learning new Quick Base skills. It's awesome! That I am much better at discovery and app planning that I am at app building, and that's ok! I really enjoy it – maybe it comes from my event planning gene! ------------------------------ Alison Hunt Senior Marketing Manager, Customer Events Quick Base ------------------------------
