If so, mark that field unique as well and then try marking the formula unique as well. ------------------------------ Michael Grosky Director of Customer Strategy, Sympo (Gold QSP) mgrosky@sympo.com ------------------------------ Re: Combo Primary KeyCan you share your formula and the properties of the fields that you are using in the formula? ------------------------------ Michael Grosky Director of Customer Strategy, Sympo (Gold QSP) mgrosky@sympo.com ------------------------------ Re: Combo Primary Key ------------------------------ Michael Grosky Director of Customer Strategy, Sympo (Gold QSP) mgrosky@sympo.com ------------------------------ Re: Sketch on FormHi Mike, One option to add to your manual sketch and scan idea would be to have users use the Quick Base mobile app on their phones to edit the record and add a picture of the sketch using the camera on their phone. Another option is to integrate with another system to import sketches. You could integrate to varying degrees depending on your level of skill or budget. Please let me know if you'd like to explore integration options further. Thanks. ------------------------------ Michael Grosky Director of Customer Strategy, Sympo (Gold QSP) mgrosky@sympo.com ------------------------------ Re: ExcelYou can export your data from a table to a .csv file using "More > Save as Spreadsheet" ------------------------------ Michael Grosky Director of Customer Strategy, Sympo (Gold QSP) mgrosky@sympo.com ------------------------------ Re: Combo Primary KeySure: 1) Add a new field to a table setting the field type to Formula - Text 2) in the formula box in the field settings, select [Field1]&[Field2] Note that each field should be surrounded by [] and the & is to concatenate the two fields. Your field types will also have to be text for Field1 and Field2. If they are not you can convert them in the formula totext([Field1]&[Field2]) ------------------------------ Michael Grosky Director of Customer Strategy, Sympo (Gold QSP) mgrosky@sympo.com ------------------------------ Re: Combo Primary KeyThe form rule method could also work, however a limitation that you could encounter is if you data is being entered via grid edit or import as opposed to using a form. ------------------------------ Michael Grosky Director of Customer Strategy, Sympo (Gold QSP) mgrosky@sympo.com ------------------------------ Re: Combo Primary KeyThat is because you cannot set a formula field as the primary key. Is the data being imported in a way where you can create the key prior to import? Or alternatively you can set up a copy of the table and run a table to table import where the key field is populated from the formula field in your original table. ------------------------------ Michael Grosky Director of Customer Strategy, Sympo (Gold QSP) mgrosky@sympo.com ------------------------------ Re: Issues with creating Audit LogHi Matt, It depends on how many fields you are trying to audit. I've set this up with an automation for about 10 fields on one table. The automation captures who made the change, when the change was made, what the old value was, what the new value is and displays on the bottom of the form as an embedded report. Is that what you're looking for? ------------------------------ Michael Grosky ------------------------------
