When I incorporate the value of the summary field into a formula text field, the hyper-link disappears so I can't drill down. What are ALL the methods to link to the desired child records in a formula text field?? I've used the <a href> html tag linked to an <ask-the-user> report with multiple criteria. This works, but I am wondering if there are any other methods? ThanksRe: URL button to update a Date/Time field always shows the time as 12:00 AMThanks that worked. On a side note, and just for my general understanding, why did this work? Why was it necessary to URLEncode the Date/Time field? URL button to update a Date/Time field always shows the time as 12:00 AMI have a URL button that when pressed takes the value in Time/Date Field #1 and inserts the value into Time/Date Field #2, however, the time portion of Field #2 always shows as 12:00 AM and not the time that shows in Field #1. For example, if the value in Field #1 is: 03-22-2019 6:18 PM, and I press the button, the resulting value in Field #2 will be: 03-22-2019 12:00 AM. It does this every time. Is it simply not possible to transfer the correct Date/Time in this manner or am I doing something wrong? For the record, the button is located in the parent table called Tasks and the child table where the record is being modified is in the Logs table. Below is my URL formula: URLRoot() & "db/" & [_DBID_LOGS] & "?a=API_EditRecord"& "&rid="& [Max Record ID# Current User]& "&_fid_7=" & [Max Date Modified Current User] & "&rdr=" & URLEncode(URLRoot() & "db/" & [_DBID_TASKS] & "?a=q&qid=20" Thanks Is there a way to resize a calendar event directly on the calendar? If, for example, I have an event on my calendar report that is 2 days long, say Monday and Tuesday, and it needs to be extended into Wednesday, is there a way to resize or "stretch" it to encompass Wednesday directly on the calendar? In other words, I don't want to go into edit mode of the record. .Kanban report card widthI noticed that the cards of my kanban report have a lot of dead space on them (see screenshot). Is there a way to make the cards/columns more narrow to get rid of the excess dead space and fit more cards on the screen at one time?. Image Onload Technique - Can I color columns in Grid Edit?I have successfully implemented the Image Onload Technique to work while in Grid Edit following the basic introductory instructions available in this forum (it shows me an alert that says "You are on the Grid Edit Page"), and I have also successfully enabled it to make colored columns in various reports while in normal table report view mode, but I can't seem to get colored columns while in Grid Edit. Does anyone know how to do this? URL to edit record and refresh to same spot on the reportI have a table report with hundreds of records. If I scroll down the report, let's say 2/3 of the way down, and I press the URL button to edit one of the records down there, I want it to REFRESH to the SAME SPOT on that report such that I will not have to scroll down again. As it is, I always have to scroll down after each button press and this is painful when I am editing many records in this manner. I did use the following within my URL formula, and while it does refresh the page it does not go back to the same spot on the report. In fact, it was not anywhere close to the same spot on the report. "javascript:" & "$.get('" & $URL & "',function(){" & "location.reload(true);" & "});" & "void(0);Re: When pressing the native green save button, can I redirect to a report in a different table?Strangely, if I go into the form properties briefly and then come back out, it DOES work. . I'm guessing this has to some kind of glitch......Re: When pressing the native green save button, can I redirect to a report in a different table?Hi Mark, When I tried this method, it did not redirect to the TASK table. It went back to the starting point in the TEAMS table. Is there some other setting I need somewhere in my app or maybe I have a glitch? var text URLONE = URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() & "?a=er&dfid=10&rid=" & ToText([Record ID#]); var text URLTWO = URLRoot() & "db/" & [_DBID_TASKS] & "?a=q&qid=7"; $URLONE & "&NextURL=" & URLEncode($URLTWO )When pressing the native green save button, can I redirect to a report in a different table?I have a URL formula button on a report in my TEAMS table that when pressed allows me to edit the current record by taking me to a secondary form (not the main form) in the TEAMS table. Upon pressing the native green save button after filling out this form, I would like to redirect to a report in the TASKS table. Is this possible? If so, how? Here is my code so far. It takes me to the correct form, but when I press save it takes me to the same TEAMS table report I started on. I don't know what to add to redirect to the desired report in the TASKS table. URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() & "?a=er&dfid=10&rid=" & ToText([Record ID#])
