I am trying to create a bar graph report but only show the top 10 results.Go ahead and go in again if you want - I didn't intend on turning off the capability to see the solution / app structure. =]Re: Hello. I am trying to create a bar graph report but only show the top 10 results.Sam, There may be a better way to do this. However, this app I created does what you are looking for without any coding or scripts. Take a look.https://cirrusops.quickbase.com/db/bk522xqu8 If you would like to discuss or have any questions, please feel free to ask! Thanks, Eric CirrusOpsRe: Can I extract specific text from the middle of a string?Hi Bob, Let's say your field was called "Description". If you use this formula: If(Contains([Description],"S5"), "S5"&Left(Right([Description],"S5"),3),"") It will find the first instance of "S5" in your field then combine S5 with the first 3 characters after S5 in the string of text. It is sort of a quick and dirty solution, but I think it should probably work. If S5 is not detected, the formula text field will remain blank. Let me know if that works for you. Good Luck! EricRe: Identify current url, OR, view / add / edit of a form.Didnt mean to convert my comment to an answer... wasnt sure if I had marked your comment as answering my question... kinda confusing. thanks again!Re: Identify current url, OR, view / add / edit of a form.VERY SIMPLE!!! Thank you!!! HAHAHAHA!!!Identify current url, OR, view / add / edit of a form. This is probably really easy - but I am stumped. I would like to display a piece of bright colorful text on my form and have it be conditional depending on whether the user is adding a record, viewing a record, or editing a record. Identifying that the user is adding a record is not an issue, a record id does not exist until after created. I can not figure out how to tell my formula text field that the user is either in view or edit while on the form. If I could get the exact url from the browser of the user, I could use the "dr" or "er" as my indicator for my formula. If anyone could share any ideas - I think I might be stuck within a box and need some other brains to have a thunk at it. Thank you!Re: Round Robin Leads HelpCraig, If you still are needing help with this, I've done this before and can be of some help. Feel free to contact me - my contact info is in my profile. Here is a high level idea of what you need to do: http://quickbase.intuit.com/developer/knowledge-base/how-can-i-auto-assign-records-users-my-application-using-formula-i-want-randomly-and-evenly- 1. Read that knowledgebase article and follow the instructions. You should end up with a formula user field. You might label it 'Round Robin Assigned To'. 2. Create 2 new fields: the first one is a normal user type field that you might label 'Override Assigned To'. The second field is a formula user field that you might lable 'Assigned To' that has a formula that looks something like this: if(usertoname([Override Assigined To])="",[Round Robin Assigned To],[Override Assigned To]) Which basically says: look at the assigned to override field and if there isn't any user selected, populate the round robin assigned user, but if there is a user in the override field, show that user here instead. This field, 'Assigned To' would always have a the correct user value, so it is the one you would use in reporting. Hope that helps!!! EricRe: How do I modify my existing formula date field to exclude weekends?Tara, You would want to use the 'WeekdayAdd' formula function to solve this. See example: WeekdayAdd([Date Entered], Days(2)) Hope that helps! Please feel free to reach out to me via my contact info on my profile if you need additional assistance. Thanks, Eric
