I am using a script to grab data from an external source and changing records in a QuickBase table using an Edit Record call from the API. I would also like to set a conditional to add a child record to another table that is linked to the crrent table I am in at the current record. I am able to add the record no problem but there is never a link created. Is it possible to create a child record that is linked back to the parent through the API in JS? I know it's possible through formula fields but I need to use the external data as well. IF anyone has any ideas thanks in advance.Re: Add Record with JavaScriptIgnore my question, I forgot to include the _fnm before my field names.Add Record with JavaScriptHello, I am currently trying to add a record to already existing DB and I have code that is already adding records to the DB. My issue is my code will add a record but will not assign fields to the record. function AddDriverToQB(Driver, PolicyReviewData, apptoken){ console.log(PolicyReviewData[0].insured_name); console.log(Driver[0].age); var AddDriverURL = "https://ctc.quickbase.com"; AddDriverURL += "/db/"; AddDriverURL += DBID; AddDriverURL += "?a=API_AddRecord"; AddDriverURL += "&_policy___cert__no_="+ PolicyReviewData[0].policy___cert__no_; AddDriverURL += "&_insured_name=" + PolicyReviewData[0].insured_name; AddDriverURL += "&_driver_name=Guy Richie"; AddDriverURL += "&apptoken=" + apptoken; $.get(AddDriverURL, true, function(){ console.log("Driver Added"); }); } The data for the input are 2 arrays that I know return values as that is what is being printed out before the Add Record. Is there any reason the record would not record fields? Thanks in advance.Re: Sending Variables with HTMLNever mind I saw the correction and now it works! Thanks Dan!Re: Sending Variables with HTMLThe issue I have when using the above url is that it will link to a page that doesn't exist. It will take the RID and use it as a part of the redirect and so it will not link properly.Sending Variables with HTMLThe title is not quite accurate. I am trying to use the RID and other informatation from a record in an HTML page off a Formula URL button on the same record form. var number RID = [Record ID#]; var date PolEffDate = [Pol Eff Date]; var text DOT = [DOT Number]; "https://user.quickbase.com/db/DBID?a=dbpage&pagename=InvoicePDF.html?rid="&[Record ID#] I obviously know that HTML cannot handle these variables. Is there anyway to get access to the RID from a button click into an HTML page? I will be using JS and Jquery once I have access to the RID. I am only trying to do this so I can have a custom HTML page that will then run the code. Any help is appreciated!IOL Javascript Function on Record AddHello, I am trying to use the IOL technique to try and run a javascript file on a new record add. This may be the incorrect way to do this and any advice is greatly appreciated. I am trying to send an event to google's calendar API using a js file that I know works. The main objective is on a new inspection meeting in our Inspection table, I want this script to run and send the event to google. Thanks, William MarroneRe: Including JQuery UI FilesGuess I should further clarify, I am currently using Javascript to grab data from three different Quick Base Apps and aggregate them together into a HTML Window using tables to create a daily report. I want to make a datetimepicker to prompt users instead of them typing in Dates. I do not know how to use Jquery UI in relation to Quick Base.Including JQuery UI FilesHello, I am trying to include a simple date picker pop up before a report to generate data from a specific date range. I am trying to use JQuery UI but cannot seem to reference it correctly or maybe have not stored it in the correct place. Anyone that has used Jquery UI in quickbase have any ideas?Using GenResultsTable to display a pie chartIs there any way to display a Pie Chart Report from Quickbase into a new window created by a code page? I am trying to create a button to generate a daily summary report and it was requested to get a Pie Chart of the data. I know Highcharts could be used as an external tool but is there a way to just display a Pie Chart that is currently in Quickbase already?
