We did some joins to achieve this and each Bid can have multiple people attached to it. Example: Bid flooring job to GC Bob, Inc. Dealing with : Bob as CEO, Jim as Project Manager and Dave as Sr. Estimator. When I run a report on all bids to GC Bob, Inc. I get back 3 results even though we only bid the one project. Can I run a report and have it count only one instance of this? Thanks for the help! -John ------------------------------ John Van Horn ------------------------------ Re: merging tables helpUsually it's one sale to one bid. In VERY RARE occasions will it be multiple sales per bid. Not enough for me to worry about honestly. Let me give this export/import a try and I'll let you know how it goes. Seems simple enough :) Thank you Justin!! merging tables helpGreetings, needing help correcting a design flaw I made in our app. As a sub-contractor we bid jobs daily to many General Contractors. Hundreds a week. To try and segment our bids from the sales process I created two tables. Bids and Sales. An automation creates the Sales record when the Bid status is changed to 'Sales'. But, since the bid folks also handle sales it's created two sections for them to enter data into and two tables to view. I'd like to merge the two tables back into one Master table with info from both so as to have one point of reference for these employees to view. Any thoughts on an easy way to get this done? I know the calendars and dashboards will need some clean up after but I can get that done easily enough on my own. Just having a booger of a time figuring out how to get all the data on one table. Thanks in advance. -JohnRe: Multi-Select Text LockedThis is still the case and it got me just today. This needs to be addressed. Re: Copied app did not copy automations. Is this possible?Bummer. I appreciate the response though. Thank you! Copied app did not copy automations. Is this possible?I've made a copy of our main app to allow for some testing and such, but the copy didn't carry over any of the automations. Is there a trick to this that I don't see?add more data to a form questionWe bid work to General Contractors. In our bid tracking table I have linked to our company table to do lookups on companies we bid to. What I'd like to do is have a 'bid to' field where I can select a company and it imports any needed info. Then, if bidding to more than one company, I need a button that says 'add more' and gives another row of the above company import. and again and again depending on how many GC's we bid to. Any advice how to do that?
