This also includes the logic for when no records exist. It didn't work right so this checks to see if no related assignments exist then enters a dummy one in so it loads the grid edit properly http://paste.ofcode.org/Mi44YqynVVkEjeRpznfpfYRe: grid edit event handlersso if anyone is curious I just have this set to go 3 seconds after the page is loaded (because .load and .ready caused it to break the highlighting) Curious though if anyone knows how to do this on an event without saving. But for now this works for me For anyone who wants the code here it is http://pastie.org/10914436 Im not sure what other pages this is will work but in my case I have an embedded grid edit report on my master record. I have related tasks and this report is to create assignments for those tasks. There isn't a relationship to the master and assignments, just tasks. So they create multiple assignments and assign the child tasks to it and assign users to complete the assignment so the originator can complete the task. The function just checks to see if Completed is checked, if so its black, if not its red. Hope it helps and look forward to feedback! grid edit event handlers So I made a function that will highlight rows in a grid edit report but I'd like my function to fire whenever a row is changed and I've been unable to bind any events, so far tried like mousedown and click using .on() and .bind() but i keep getting this error. Guessing I can't double bind or something? ((f.event.special[s.origType] || (intermediate value)).handle || s.handler).apply is not a function Re: How To Format A Date Returned From API?When I calculate days I skip weekends but I also have an object with specific dates to exclude as well. Can I use that object with those as well?Re: How To Format A Date Returned From API?Dan I'm trying to perform a calculation with a date field and the value I have stored is 5/26/2016 on the record. The API returns 1464220800000. The app setting is set to EST. I take this value and create a date with it and pass it to a function AddBusinessDays(d,n) d = date | n = # of days to add if you do $.datepicker.formatDate("mm/dd/yy", new Date( parseInt("1464220800000" ,10)) ); for me my console returns 5/25/16 at 8pm applying -4 hours for EST. so this date is whats being passed into the AddBusinessDays and that function doesd = new Date(d.getTime());which returns 1464148800000. The timezone is getting applied twice. I find coding with dates really confusing for some reason. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
