Then you can define the size of the URL button and make it a bit bigger. Something like this: var text url = [your url goes here]; "<a href='" & $url & "' class='Vibrant Success'> Button Text Here </a>" ------------------------------ - Sam ______________________________________________ Sam Jones Vice President, Product and Technology he/him The Data Collaborative, Inc. sjones@datacollaborative.com 366 Massachusetts Ave, Suite 203 | Arlington, MA 02474 ------------------------------ Re: Availability CalendarIf you search in the Exchange, it's called All-Star Appointment Scheduler. ------------------------------ - Sam ______________________________________________ Sam Jones Vice President, Product and Technology he/him The Data Collaborative, Inc. sjones@datacollaborative.com 366 Massachusetts Ave, Suite 203 | Arlington, MA 02474 ------------------------------ Re: Availability CalendarHey Mike! Two options for you. Option 1: I built this app back when I was with Quick Base Inc. It works on the concept of creating open appointment slot records, which can be claimed. It's a decent solution, if you have a relatively static schedule. Not a great solution if you're dealing with other methods of scheduling. The core of the issue here is that Quick Base doesn't do a great job reporting on lack of data. You can run a report of appointments and group by day of the appointment, but that report won't contain days without any appointments. Option 2: Recently had a client come to us with a need to book video calls with physicians, and the simplest thing, by far, was to use a scheduling tool. For this client, because they're telemed, we used Acuity. You could also use Calendly. They're both really straightforward apps that do scheduling, really, really well. The integration with Quick Base takes some coding, but not to much. Let me know how those might work for you. If you want to chat more about those, set up time to talk here. https://calendly.com/samrjones/ ------------------------------ - Sam ______________________________________________ Sam Jones Vice President, Product and Technology he/him The Data Collaborative, Inc. sjones@datacollaborative.com 366 Massachusetts Ave, Suite 203 | Arlington, MA 02474 ------------------------------ RE: Is there any way to move a report out of the "mine" group?Paul, Back when we rebuilt the groups for reports, I had an engineer look into letting you shift a report directly from private to shared, and it turned out to be much more complicated strangely enough. That said, as with so many things, do what @Laura Thacker says. ------------------------------ - Sam ______________________________________________ Sam Jones Vice President, Product and Technology he/him The Data Collaborative, Inc. sjones@datacollaborative.com 366 Massachusetts Ave, Suite 203 | Arlington, MA 02474 ------------------------------ Re: IOL working (JSON) would like to save to field in form Randy, I'd lean toward having a url formula like this: urlroot() & "db/" & appid() & "?a=dbpage&pageid=5&satellite=" & [satellite] Pass that off to a code page (in this case page 5), have the code page make the API call, then call the following: var targetTable = "dbid of the table you want to create a record on" window.location.href= 'https://quickbase.com/db/' + targetTable + '?a=api_genaddrecordform&_fid_7=' + resp.latitude; That'll open a new record form with the value pre-populated. If you want to do that with an existing record, set up a call with me and we can talk through it. https://calendly.com/samrjones ------------------------------ - Sam ______________________________________________ Sam Jones Vice President, Product and Technology he/him The Data Collaborative, Inc. sjones@datacollaborative.com 366 Massachusetts Ave, Suite 203 | Arlington, MA 02474 ------------------------------ Re: Converting Date field to Fiscal YearHey Bethany, I think this'll work. if(month([date]) > 9, year([date])+1, year([date])) If you need more help with it, swing by Data Collaborative's free Office Hours, every Thursday at 1pm Eastern. It'll break at some point in the future. That said, if it's writing to the console successfully, you should be able to add this: $("#_fid_7").val(resp.latitude) And that should add it to the record that's on the screen. ------------------------------ - Sam ______________________________________________ Sam Jones Vice President, Product and Technology he/him The Data Collaborative, Inc. sjones@datacollaborative.com 366 Massachusetts Ave, Suite 203 | Arlington, MA 02474 ------------------------------ Re: Display only new or changed recordsPersonally, I'd just make a "Create New" button and put it next to the drop down, rather than trying to keep the list short. If you want the list to always be the 5 most recently created, you could create a universal parent record, relate all the newly created records to that so you can get the maximum record id, then create a report formula to limit to only the 5 greatest Record IDs. What's your purpose? We can try to figure out a way to match that specifically. ------------------------------ - Sam ______________________________________________ Sam Jones Vice President, Product and Technology he/him The Data Collaborative, Inc. sjones@datacollaborative.com 366 Massachusetts Ave, Suite 203 | Arlington, MA 02474 ------------------------------ Re: Require a field based on URL Button for Status UpdateNo worries, Ivan!
