I will make note of your suggestion and change it if the users would like it changed. Thank you again for the quick response on my question! ------------------------------ Amy Gosz ------------------------------ Re: Formula Rich Text field containing fieldsThank you Mark! That was the one option I didn't try. I made one change and that was with the field "Assigned To". The &" "& function doesn't work with a user field so I had to adapt for that by creating a different field and using the new field created. All good though! ------------------------------ Amy Gosz ------------------------------ Formula Rich Text field containing fieldsI am trying to create a Rich Text Formula field that will display as fields are completed. It's meant to show the user what a notification will look like when sent. However, the field references in my formula field are not displaying the text typed, just the field name. I am unsure what I need to do to get the typed text showing in place of the field name. Here is my formula: "
Attached is [Call Forecasting Description] [Call Forecasting Purpose] and will be distributed by [Call Forecasting Distribution].
\n\n
\n
\n\n
Please share this information with your teams as appropriate. If you have any questions, please contact [Assigned To].
\n\n
\n
\n\n
When is the communication going out?\n
\n *This will be sent to [Call Forecasting LOB] [Call Forecasting Audience].\n
\n *Exceptions - [Call Forecasting Exceptions].
\n\n
\n
\n\n
When is the communication going out?\n
\n *The estimated mail drop is [Desired Due Date].
\n\n
\n
\n\n
Thank you
" Here is the output on the form: Call Forecasting Email Preview Attached is [Call Forecasting Description] [Call Forecasting Purpose] and will be distributed by [Call Forecasting Distribution]. Please share this information with your teams as appropriate. If you have any questions, please contact [Assigned To]. When is the communication going out? *This will be sent to [Call Forecasting LOB] [Call Forecasting Audience]. *Exceptions - [Call Forecasting Exceptions]. When is the communication going out? *The estimated mail drop is [Desired Due Date]. Thank you Any help is appreciated. I am so close but can't seem to figure out the correct syntax to use. Thank you! ------------------------------ Amy Gosz ------------------------------ Re: Pipeline OwnershipThanks Mark for the quick reply. We don't have need for this right now, but I will retain your answer in case it comes up on the future. Hopefully before that time, QB can figure out a fix for this. It would probably be most helpful if any admin on an app can see any Pipelines built using that particular app. That would still secure other apps but give admins visibility to anything affecting an app they are responsible for. Or, maybe be able to 'add' people to a Pipeline when setting it up to allow them access. ------------------------------ Amy Gosz ------------------------------ Pipeline OwnershipWe like the idea of using Pipelines, but am concerned about ownership if the person who created the Pipeline is no longer with our company or not available to make a change. I did see an answer similar to this situation regarding Automations. The response suggested created an "automation user' account and giving access to that account. Would this same solution need to used for Pipelines as well? How can someone other than the Pipeline creator gain access to a particular Pipeline? ------------------------------ Amy Gosz ------------------------------ Re: Pipeline creates a blank recordThank you Blake. We used the first option and it worked. I think what we missed when we first went with that option was creating a condition. Seems to be working just fine now! ------------------------------ Amy Gosz ------------------------------ Re: Pipeline creates a blank recordSorry, I thought I replied the other day ------------------------------ Amy Gosz ------------------------------ Pipeline creates a blank recordTesting Pipeline for the first time and when we used A-Record Created to B-Create Record, the record was created but only after we hit the Sync button. Looking further into this, we realized we needed to do A-Record Created to B-Query to C-Create Record. Now the record is created automatically in the new table but all the fields are blank. We are unable to figure out why. In Step B Query we do have one condition added that a particular multiple choice field must be 'X'. Our A-Record Created does contain this value so we don't think this is the issue. Does anyone know what else we need to look at to figure out why a blank record is being created? ------------------------------ Amy Gosz ------------------------------ RE: How can we help you adapt to your new (and evolving) priorities? From my perspective, we are doing good. Our company already lives on laptops so it has been fairly easy to transition to work at home mode. Also, throughout the past year, departments went on a 'test' BCP to makes sure they were able to stay at home and continue working. Notifications were sent out the night before so that was the only notice employees got and they were expected to stay home and work and not show up at the office. ------------------------------ Amy Gosz ------------------------------ Re: Abort Save but button link to a different form not workingThe Address Table does not require the Vendor ID#, but the expense report does so that won't be saved. There is no information from the expense report to be passed to the Address Table add form. I just want that to be a link directly to that add record form. ------------------------------ Amy Gosz ------------------------------
