Same reference field, different selections within the form I have a scenario where I have a parent table with a list of trial numbers. I have a related table that has a list of subjects. Each trial has many subjects, and some subjects have more than one trial. In my form, I want to be able to add a new subject. In one field, I have labeled the primary trial, which is a table relationship picker. However, I also want to have a second field labeled the secondary trial, which would pick from the same table as the primary trial did, but with different results. How do I make the referenced selector independent of one another? SolvedHow to format reportsHi, I am a novice QuickBase user. I have been tasked with "mapping" partitioned boxes that contain vials. The company wants to know what is in the vial, when it was created, the concentration, and other label information. I have mapped these boxes in Excel, but would really rather have this be a database for many reasons (security being one of them). In addition to knowing what we have, we would like to be able to remove vials with the date, person, and purpose. I want the report to look something like this: Is there a way in quickbase to set up forms and tables so that it gives a report like this? Thanks! ------------------------------ Rebecca Lutz ------------------------------ Re: Scientific NotationI am really new at Quick Base so please bear with me. In fields where there is already a formula, I am getting an error that says "There are extra characters beyond the end of the formula." In fields where there will just be straight data input (I converted it from numeric to formula numeric), I get an error that says "Field [numeric input]) is not identified".Re: Scientific NotationYes, we will enter 1350000 into the field and I would like it to show up as 1.35^6 in both the field and on reports.Re: Scientific NotationMy application is recording the number of cells that are counted under the microscope, so commonly we see 1.35e6 or 1.35^6 in our documentation. Right now, these same fields would be 1350000.Scientific NotationI have many fields that contain data that needs to be displayed in scientific notation. Is there a way to display numbers this way?
