Anyone use QB for Employee Scheduling?

My CEO is a huge fan of QB and the visibility it has provided to our team. Now he's asking can I get it to function as an employee scheduling application as well?

It would include EE Name, Rate of Pay, and other EE data. A seven day schedule added each week. Labor costs totaled by position, and compared against standard productivity metrics. And a host of other items.

Actual hours worked (stored in Infor) would be loaded and compared against the schedule for an actual vs. scheduled report.

Anyone using QB for anything like this?

Hi Andrew,

CloudBase Services has developed a resource allocation (RA) add-on tool for employee and/or contractor job and task scheduling. Our RA add-on extends a QuickBase project or job management application. In addition to the requirements you've listed, RA allows a project manager to visualize employees’ allocation % across all active projects to optimize employee assignments to new projects (by hours or % of project/task).

We’ve implemented a number of out-of-the-box and custom reports on hours and cost by project, task, employee and role, comparison to standard metrics and comparison to actuals (via a data feed from a third party time tracking application).

We’d be happy to set up a demo and answer any specific questions that you have.
