API call returning empty string for a populated field.

I am using the API and GenResultsTable to return a js file.  Some of the fields were lookup fields that were returning blank strings.  I then created native versions of those fields using a formula field that referred to the lookup fields.

Of the four fields, one of them now pulls the correct data through, but the others are still returning a blank string.  The only difference that I can think of is that in the original lookup fields, the field that is now working is a single line of text in its home table and the ones that are not working are multi-line fields.

Does anyone have any insight into how to make this work?

Hello enielsen,
I am not familiar with the situation you are in, so I do not know any solutions off hand.  However, I could recommend a few things which may solve your issue.  First, have you tried condensing your problem-causing fields into one line?  You can dictate multiple lines after the data has been processed with either html <br /> or "\n", both indicate a line break.  You could set your multi-line field up to use "\n" instead of the traditional enter.  It may look strange in quickbase, however once its formatted out through the API it may generate properly.  (It's worth a shot).

I'm looking forward to hearing if you have solved this issue and how.  Otherwise I can try to offer additional solutions that you may have not yet thought of.
