I have an application that is used to pull in details from multiple other applications and tables and then add to that, for presentation to another group.  So different data, owned and documented by different teams, in various tables.  but for my needs, it makes sense to pull field contents from each into this one table I own and manage.  How can I do this, without having to select it for each separate table/app?

Example:  Table for Customer Info from needs assessment needs to pull in:

Basic customer data from one app somewhere else

Basic info about their current solution from another

Basic info about the potential sale to this customer from another

All could be keyed on the customer name, of course, but it won't link without selecting customer name from 3 different fields because the actual relationship is based on the numeric key fields.

Thanks!!!

Is the customer name same letter perfect identical in all three apps?  if it is and you select the customer name from any of your apps, then you can have two more Report Link fields  (ie two more in addition to the Report link field which the Relationship will provide automatically to bring in the records on an embedded report on your 4th app.  But these would just be Report Link fields and not able to be used on the record except on a form, ie not on a report.

Thanks, Mark - at first, I was worried that was too far off for the layout idea I had in mind.  But I thought about it, realized the field names are close enough to work, so tried it. Turns out the layout is really just fine.  I just have to manipulate the data fields in those reports that appear on the form, and even break some of it into two different report links with two different reports and fields.  But it does work and looks fine!  Thank you!!!

The answer was to create Report Link fields.
