assigning field labels when uploading a file

We routinely upload files to existing tables.  Depending on the file and table these can contain anywhere from 40 - 80 fields.  The files we upload always contain the same structure (# of fields in the same order).  Is there a way to default the field label rows so that they always populate the same way.  Right now some are assigned properly and others we always have to adjust.  This makes things very time consuming and prone to errors.

If the field name EXACTLY match the columns heads in the excel / CSV field that QuickBase will nail it.  If not, well, then a cascade of errors will start and its a mess.  Ideally, you let QuickBase Create the fields initially from the first upload, but basically, at this point, you need to make them match.

If you have control over the excel headings, then export a table report form QuickBase and then use those field names in your excel / CSV file.  If the Excel / CSV is from another system where you cannot control the column headings, then you need to change your QuickBase field names.

This appears to make sense and is very helpful.  The course of action we need to take depends on the file/table we are updating.  We will give this a try.  Thanks!
