Attachment field issue

Hi Team,

I have a issue in a attachment field. Below are the details:

Lets say i have 2 fields:


1) Approval - Approve/ Decline - (Multiple choice)


2) Attachment - (file attachment).

The Attachment field becomes mandatory when the Approval field is equal to Approved. I have set a rule and it was working fine since 1 year. From today i am facing a issue.

Now i clicked on Approve and so Attachment field become mandatory. I have uploaded a file, and now it is not letting me save. It throws an error saying Attachment field is required. (Even though there is a file i get this error).

I have attached the screenshot for reference.

UPDATE -- 2:18 pm EST, 8/10/2015 

This issue has been fixed.  At this time you should no longer be running into this problem.  You may need to clear your cache/cookies if the issue remains.

This is in fact a Bug introduced from yesterday's release:

QBE010155: Required File Attachment Fields not working correctly

My sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you.  Currently the only workaround is to not make the File Attachment field required.

We are aware of the issue and working on a fix as soon as possible today.  Once a fix has been deployed I will be sure to follow up.
