Can a Field Contain Name of App User

I have an app for one person to use which send out reminders to everyone who needs their license renewed.

Currently all of my License records have a field call 'License Manager', but now I'm changing the app for another person's use -- instead of changing who is the 'License manager' for all of these records, can I just have this field reflect the name of the user in an 'App Manager' role? Or is there another way to have a single field for this person's name in the app?

Thank you!

Low tech solution.

New table

Create field in the table called License manager

Adsd 1 record and load in Fred Flintstone as the License manager.

in any child tables, make a  field called Link to License manager.  The field will be formula numeric

Make it a formula of 1.  ie it will always calculate to 1.

make a relationship where 1 License manager has many license renewal requests based on the reference field you just made on the right aside of the relationship.

Lookup the license manager down to the detail table.
