Can I create a filter within a calendar report that users can use?

I created a calendar for our estimating team to view bid due dates. Is there a way to allow the bidder to filter the calendar so that only their bids and due dates are visible?

Yes, you have two choices.

Presumably you have a User field where the record knows who the bidder is.  It might be a field or it might the [Record owner] field. - ie who created the record.

You can add a filter where [Bidder user] (if that were the name of your field) is equal to _curuser_ (you need the underscores)


If that filter of _curuser_  is too geeky for you, it may make more sense to create a field called [Current User] with the formula


User()

The filter where [Bidder user] is equal to the value in the field [Current User]
