I'm not sure if you can do this in quickbase but we were hoping to be able to see if people in our company were actually using quickbase and how many times they logon. I was wondering if there is some type of report we can generate that would give us this type of information.

Thank you in advance.

My workplace wants the same thing you're asking about. We couldn't find a way to see how many times users login. Instead, we created a "Users" table, not to be confused with the "users tab" in the dashboard. In our "Users" table we can track last login from the app, not just logging into QuickBase to get to the app.

In your "Users" table, along with all the user information your need, create a field called "last login," and make that field a Date/Time. That should give you enough information about who is using your app. Then you can compare information between the "users tab."

I'm not understanding how the field [Last Login] gets populated?

but in any event, if you just want to know the last login, you can go to the Users with Access tab of the Realm.  Manage My Account off the My QuickBase page and see the last login date/ time.

if you want to see when a User last accessed a particular app, you can see that on the Users page for the app.

I'm sorry but I'm not completely sure what you mean. I'm pretty sure we have a realm, as the website we go to is ourcompany.quickbase.com, but I'm not sure how to go to the Users with Access tab of the Realm. Could you explain how to do this?

You may need to have a very high level of access to get to that tab called Manage my Account.  It is to the right side of the My QuickBase Page.

The [Last Login] field gets populated with date/time when the user accesses the app. No special code or anything.

To get to "Users with Access," go to MyApps > look at the right column under QuickBase Exchange and look for Account Admin > click on "Manage my billing account" or whatever it says for you > Click on "Users with Access" and you'll see the "Users with Access" tab.

Jim -- Regarding your comment, "The [Last Login] field gets populated with date/time when the user accesses the app. No special code or anything.", how exactly does [Last Login] get populated?  I don't know of any QuickBase mechanism that will do that, and if there is one, that would be very helpful.  Thanks!
