Can I fill a formula text field with values from a field in another table, using only records that match a certain criteria?

I'm new to QuickBase and trying to mimic (as closely as possible) some of the features of an old database program. I have an Events table with a one-to-many relationship with an Scheduled Days (one event can have different, non-concurrent days scheduled, with job assignments and equipment rentals related individually to each schedule day). In the old database, the "Events" table lists the [Date] field of Scheduled Days in a single cell but the rest of the row only populates matching values once. For example, with a row containing [JOB#], [Dates], [Event Name], the rows would show:

[Job#123], [Date1, Date2, Date3], [Event Name1]
[JOB#456], [Date1, Date2], [Event Name2]

This is similar to the sorting and grouping option in a Scheduled Days report but matching [JOB#] and [Event Name] values are repeated in each individual row created under the grouped sections. My rusty programmer brain wants to use JavaScript to parse all Scheduled Days for those with a [JOB#] value matching the Event and extract the [Date] values into a text field but I'm having a difficult time getting started with JS programming in QB, even with all the documentation.

Can you explain a little more what you're trying to do?

i.e. Is this data already imported into the Events table, and you want to create/import the related Scheduled Days records, based on the [Date1, Date2, Date3] field?

[Job#123], [Date1, Date2, Date3], [Event Name1]
[JOB#456], [Date1, Date2], [Event Name2]
