Can you avoid 'display errors' when including "Add link" (+) button to Calendar? Instructions say avoid "date created/modified" but doing so creates errors; no display.

I am able to create a calendar that displays/functions but only when I include the "date field" from "Base calendar on...." field (with options of date created/date modified). However, the instructions clearly indicate that to include a "+" button in upper right hand corner of each date, you cannot include do that.  When I remove that option, I get an error: "Remove built-in date fields."   When I remove built-in dates, then you cannot include an Add link.

I don't really understand your question without a bunch of testing, but most people just make a Date field called [Date] and base the calendar on that field.  Then the ADD button in the Calendar square works just fine.
