The low tech way to put up an image is to copy the jpg file to your clip board and the paste it to to a text box section of a dashboard.  Note sure how to size it other than pre-editing it in some other tool.  Not sure how to do a PDF - other than to turn it into an image of the pdf, such as a jpg file.

Hi Martin,

If you have a URL of the image, you can also place it in a Text Widget. You should see an icon that looks like a painting and ti will allow you to paste the image URL in and adjust the size.

Thanks for the responses. I first used the URL approach and I could see the image locally, but none of the remote users could see. Is there an additional setting to make this visible to everyone?
I just tried the copy/ paste technique but it would not paste.
Appreciate any additional suggestions.

Do the remote viewers have access to wherever you stored the image - the URL you linked to?

I added the image to a Documents Table and made sure the view Access was allowed to others. Still no luck. Appreciate any other suggestions.

Is the document stored in a table which is open to everyone on the internet?

In the Table Settings Access I have "View All Records" set. Wouldn't that do it?

When you say "remote users", are these QuickBase users or are the anonymous "Everyone On the Internet" Users?

After looking at Martin's app together, we determined that the location where the file attachment was stored had a somewhat obscure field level permission which was blocking his normal users from seeing the file attachment.

So, the solution posted by Joseph of the Quickbase of the aquickBase Cares team was in fact the best way to go.
