Can you have your multi-select choices linked to another table?

I would like to use the multi-select field for a testing database I have created. The field is called "Impacted Integrations?" Currently the user can multi-select the integrations that are impacted by the respective test.

I know it is possible to type in the integration names into the field choices but is there a way that the multi-select choices can look at another table that lists all of the integrations? This would save a lot of time in not having to keep the multi-select field updated.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Chris

Yes, in the field settings for the filed, look at the options under "Input Type".

There is an option for "Multiple Choice from another field".

That will allow you to use values from a field in another table.

I believe that Chris was asking about was the new Multi Choice field type as opposed to a regular Multiple Choice field.

It would certainly be a good improvement to allow the choices to be drawn from a table as that would allow regular authorized users who are not Admins to update the valid choices from time to time.  QuickBase Engineers are aware that this would be nice to have as an enhancement this field type, but it would help to post something on User Voice to help get some Priority to that enhancement.  The User voice table is the little Orange "Feedback" Tab on the My Apps page.

Thanks for the replies - I will definitely add this feedback as the "multi-select" field is a great new field but it would be better if the choices were pulled from another table.
