Hello, I have one field for email address and when user enters existing email domain, it should not save the record and display message "only one email can be registered per domain/organization". Making the field unique will not work since I'm checking against the email domain. Is the any way I can accomplish this? TIA!

no problem

Make a formula text field called [Sorry, but a registration has already been made for this domain]

The formula will be

right([my email address field],"@")

and mark it as unique.

Then do a test and you will see the red error message come up.  Adjust the name of your field to help the user understand the problem.

If it is a complicated form, I suggest that you have the user first enter minimal info on the first part of the form and then try saving, so they don't enter a lot of info only to find that it will not save.
