checkbox formula for multiple ifs from text fields?

 or 

if [Service Item] contains "vacation" 

check the box.

Can you tell me what field type [Time Card Job Number] is  and if it is numeric, is the box checked treat blank as zero in calculations?

[Time Card job Number] is numeric reference, yes box is checked treat blank as zero in calculations. [Service Item] is obviously text.

Formula error - Type mismatch.  The expression [Time Card Job Number] on the left hand side of the operator ">" is a type of text while the expression 0 on the right hand side is a type number.  The operator ">" cannot be used with these types of expressions.  NOTE: I'm sorry, [Time Card Job Number] is text on the original table, converts to numeric reference in the relationship.
