  • 1.  Create list-user field of users who filled in the survey in a related table.

From the Activities table a survey is sent to all users you enter in a list-user field. The surveys reside in a related table to allow multiple surveys per activity. In the survey list, clicking the "related activity" button takes me right to the activity, so this relation is working fine.
In the activities table, I want to gather the information of who filled in the survey, i.e. the record owners of the surveys of the Related Activity.
I thought of trying using "QuickBase actions", however when I setup the action, next to the Report link field, it's saying "For each changed survey, edit activities where the value in Related Survey equals the value in the survey's Record ID# field." When I look in the details of an activity however, it's saying "No surveys found" for the Related Survey table, so the record ID field is blank. Is this because the key field in the Surveys table is the record ID? Should I set the "Related activity" field to be the key field?
Any other tips on how to accomplish this (maybe I'm looking too far for the solution) are welcome.

    Thanks,
    Yo?l

Setting "Related activity" to be the key field is of course not possible, as this is not a unique value since multiple surveys relate to the same activity...
