Data transfer from QB to Shared Drive automation?

Hi,

I have need to allow a QuickBase application to send data, on a schedule, from a table to a spreadsheet file on a shared drive. Will any of the connected data services -- Gmail, DropBox, etc. -- accommodate a transfer 'from' QB to a corporate shared drive?  Does such a configuration require a 'partner' service?

Thanks,

Chris

There may be a solution that does precisely and only what you want but I thought I would mention that I am starting to use Electron and it certainly could do this task (and a whole lot more):

Build Cross Platform Desktop Apps With JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

I would contact Juiced Technologies. They are an excellent 3rd Party add on provider who recently launched a new product called XL Docs http://www.quickbasetools.com/#!excel-docs/dd7hd

That product will create an .xlsx file by pushing a button in QuickBase.

So they would be the logical partner to get that working in a button push, and then have them do a custom setup to run that process on a scheduler. It would be some custom work to put it in your server files, but the heavy lifting to interface from QuickBase to Excel has already been done and turned into a standard product. Keith and Todd Jusas (brothers) are great guys.

I would suggest QuNect. One-time fee and it can be scheduled on a Windows computer or server.
http://qunect.com/

QuNect Backup downloads your apps and attachments to a file path that you configure: http://qunect.com/products.html
