Is there a way to set format defaults for rich text fields?
One of our users copied and pasted into a rich text field from another application. It messed up the lovely uniform look of a table that displays that field.  In the process of trying to figure out how that happened - and I still can't recreate it - we thought it would be nice if there were a way to set a rich text field to always have certain formats - say, red and bold and a set font and font size.

On September 21st a bug will be corrected https://www.quickbase.com/quickbase-blog/january-2018-release-notes that should let you have a Rich Text formulas field and use a form rule to copy that into the blank field when the Rich Text data entry field is blank.

Currently there is a big preventing a form rule copy values into a Rich Text field.

Another way to accomplish this would be to have a simple text field and use a formula rich text field to create your custom looking rich text based on the text that was entered. Use the formula rich text field in your table reports for display. It involves creating an additional field but you will have a consistent look for that field even though the text is entered manually.
